Elspeth is a Senior Solicitor in the Employment, Immigration and Pensions Unit.
With a commitment to fairness, Elspeth provides guidance to both employers and employees. Her experience spans contentious and non-contentious matters, covering a breadth of issues from discrimination to unfair dismissal and the management of internal procedures. Elspeth regularly represents clients in Employment Tribunal and has a track record of good results. She strives to offer tailored advice that empowers her clients to create and maintain efficient and inclusive working environments. In light of her special interest in discrimination law, she recognises the importance of championing diversity and ensuring everyone’s rights are protected in the workplace, appropriately balancing this against commercial and business needs.
In advising clients, Elspeth works to ensure they receive the best possible service and support, taking the time to understand their needs in order to provide guidance that is practical and effective. She is committed to keeping up to date with the latest developments in employment law and using this knowledge to help clients navigate complex legal issues. She regularly provides bespoke training to employers covering topics such as management of internal investigations, TUPE, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
Outside of work, Elspeth spends much of her time with family and friends and enjoys passing a Sunday in a coffee shop reading a good book!
