Fiona Gibb

With a particular specialism in rural property, Fiona’s work focuses on the purchase, sale and management of estates, forestry, sporting rights, minerals and other natural assets. She is a true expert in the negotiation of options and site promotion agreements for development land and provides invaluable strategic advice for property-based rural businesses.

Fiona advises owners on succession, trusts, business structure and tax planning, and also helps charity clients with governance and commercial issues, the interpretation and variation of trust purposes and their property portfolios. She is a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Property Law committee and is Anderson Strathern’s cashroom manager, responsible for financial compliance. She also sits on our risk management and finance committees and the senior management team.

Away from her professional heights, Fiona has climbed all of Scotland’s Munros and now has the Corbetts in her sights.
