Max Scharbert

Max is a bilingual (English & German) corporate lawyer with extensive experience in advising clients on a wide range of transactions with a focus on private equity and mergers & acquisitions. He is qualified to practise law in Scotland, England & Wales and Germany.

Max has been practising law for over 20 years mainly in the UK but also in Germany. His clients range from established multi-national corporations to emerging start-up companies, and from institutional investors to private investors and entrepreneurs. Max is the chairman of the German British Chamber of Commerce in Scotland and is a regular speaker at their events. Being a German speaker and qualified in the UK helps German speaking clients to feel comfortable with their transactions in the UK.

In his spare time, Max enjoys training for triathlons, travelling, hillwalking (trying to keep up with his wife), photography and cooking.
