Estate Agency : Sales Negotiator

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Estate Agency team for a Sales Negotiator. This role is full time and office based in Edinburgh.

 

We have a market-leading Residential conveyancing team, headed up by our award-winning specialists, Sara Jalicy and Jemma Richardson. We provide tailored property advice to private, individual, commercial, and public sector clients. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Estate Agency team for a Sales Negotiator. This role is full time and office based in Edinburgh.

You will be responsible for

  • The administrative elements of managing clients and properties on the market.
  • Negotiating offers and conducting closing dates.
  • Advising clients on market strategy, surveys and offer conditions.
  • Dealing with general telephone enquiries.
  • Arranging smooth and clear offer handovers from Estate Agency to legal team.
  • Managing all properties on the market with our firm on a day-to-day basis.
  • Helping win new business, and delivering excellent client service to our on market clients.

What you will need to succeed

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive attitude.
  • A keen interest in a long-term career in property. Experience in a previous property negotiation role or environment is key to success in this role.
  • The ability to work in a paper free estate agency system and environment.
  • The ability to cope with a large workload, quickly, and accurately.
  • Meeting deadlines for clients and managing expectations appropriately.
  • The ability to prioritise workload efficiently, particularly under volume pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to provide clear written and oral advice.
  • A professional telephone manner.
  • The ability to be an effective team worker, and to use your own initiative.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to your work, and to learning and supporting others.
