Fixed Fee Consultation: Planning your Visa journey

Stage one, when planning to move to the UK or extend your stay in the UK, is identifying the correct visa route for your circumstances and what requirements you need to meet.

We provide a one hour fixed fee consultation to fully explore your circumstances and provide advice on what will be required to secure your visa status.

After our consultation, you will be clear about whether you already meet the requirements to apply for a particular visa. We will provide information on any additional requirements, as well as any timeframes that are relevant to your application.

The importance of an early consultation with our immigration lawyers cannot be overstated.

Our fixed fee consultation starts from £350 per hour. VAT will be chargeable only if you are a resident of the UK.

What to expect

Before your consultation

In advance of the consultation, we will ask you to prepare a summary of your intentions and circumstances. We make this request as our immigration lawyers want to prepare for your consultation in advance so that the money you pay is money well spent. In the consultation, our immigration lawyers want to focus immediately on your circumstances and visa options rather than spend the consultation obtaining basic details from you.

At the consultation

  • We will discuss your circumstances and the potential visa routes available to you.
  • If your visa route is very clear, e.g. you wish to apply for a Partner Visa, we will focus on how you can meet the main requirements of the visa.
  • If there are any requirements that cannot currently be met we will advise you of how those requirements can be met.
  • We will discuss the timing of your plans and explain the processing times of your visa and options to secure a faster decision.
  • We will explain the process of applying for a visa and the costs involved.

After the consultation

We will provide you with a follow-up email setting out your eligibility to apply for a visa, the requirements you meet or are still required to meet, the costs to apply and the timescales for doing so.

Our immigration lawyers will put you in a position where you can make a confident decision about your future intentions to move to or continue to live in the UK.

Our Full Visa Application Service

It is normally clear after a consultation that applying for a visa is a complex process and expert advice and assistance is required. We offer a comprehensive service for preparing and submitting our client’s visa application and/or their families.

In most cases, we are able to offer a fixed fee service to you. Visa applications and all the costs involved in relocating to the UK are obviously significant, and we understand the importance of knowing your costs in advance. In more complex cases, where we cannot offer a fixed fee service, we will advise you of this from the beginning.

Our full visa application service includes the following:

  • Consultations with you at the outset so you are clear on the requirements you must meet.
  • Providing you in detail with all the specific information and evidence we require to prepare your visa application.
  • When ready, prepare your visa application in draft on the government’s online visa system.
  • Working with you to bring all required evidence together and advising you when all the requirements have been met.
  • Meeting with you, submitting the application on your behalf and assisting you in processing all the relevant visa payments.
  • Booking your visa appointment at a visa centre closest to where you are living.
  • Uploading all the supporting evidence to your submitted online application.
  • Providing you with full instructions for attending your visa appointment.
  • Advising and assisting you up to the receipt of a visa decision and explaining further steps required of you.

Applying for a UK visa involves meeting complex rules and navigating online systems, including both the government’s visa pages and those of their partnered commercial visa centres.

Our Full Application Service involves us taking full responsibility for every step of the process and preparing the best possible visa application.

If you do not require our Full Visa Application Service, we can also provide tailored support across a wide range of immigration matters to suit your needs.
