Anderson Strathern has strengthened its construction expertise with the acquisition of ADLP Ltd and assuming its former Managing Partner Alistair Dean as a partner of the firm.
ADLP Ltd covered a wide range of commercial litigation but had particular strength in construction disputes.
Alistair is returning to Anderson Strathern having previously worked for the firm until 2005 before leaving to set up ADLP Ltd. While at ADLP, Alistair specialised in contentious construction matters and developed an extensive client base. Alistair is a Solicitor Advocate, has a Masters in Construction Law and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Alistair is enthusiastic about his new role at Anderson Strathern. He said: “I am delighted to be back at Anderson Strathern, a firm I have always been fond of since working there in my younger days. It is clearly a firm in growth mode and I am keen to enhance the commercial litigation offering.”
Murray McCall, Managing Partner said, "2015 was a great year for the firm and 2016 has got off to an excellent start with steady organic growth and lateral hires. It is fantastic to be able to bring smaller scale, high quality practices like ADLP Ltd into the business. I am delighted to see Alistair back with us."
