Our latest employment law workshop will focus on managing investigations in the workplace.
Our interactive training session will incorporate group work and role play activities throughout and will be led by our in-house experts Barry Nichol and Mandy Armstrong.
The half-day session will provide you with a detailed understanding of the legal and practical requirements for conducting an appropriate investigation. This is important when dealing with internal formal disciplinary and grievances as employers are expected to have conducted a reasonable investigation into complaints about or by employees.
At the end of the training you'll have an understanding of:
- Best practice and the law;
- Planning an investigation;
- Managing an investigation;
- Conducting investigation interviews;
- Preparing the investigation report.
Any HR professionals or managers with responsibility for conducting, or overseeing, investigations into disciplinary, grievance or capability issues will benefit from this workshop.
