Fraser Geddes has been Chair of Anderson Strathern from April 2023-26, leading the firm’s strategy and overseeing operational management.

He is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer, acting on commercial and property disputes and professional negligence claims, with a particular focus on regulation in the health sector.

Fraser advises commercial clients, private individuals and public sector bodies, with a strong emphasis on achieving early, pragmatic outcomes and avoiding litigation where possible.

Where court action is required, he has extensive experience pursuing and defending claims in the Court of Session, Sheriff Court and the Lands Tribunal for Scotland.

He is a keen advocate of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, and is recognised by Chambers. Fraser is certified by the Law Society of Scotland as an Expert Witness in Professional Negligence and Scots Law.
