He also works closely with in-house teams to deliver expert legal services to regulatory bodies including the General Medical Council, the General Dental Council, Scottish Social Services Council and the General Teaching Council for Scotland. He appears for and before a number of fitness to practise panels and deals with appeals and judicial review in the Court of Session.
Gary’s expertise also has a particular focus on personal injury and medical negligence. He specialises in injuries at work, injuries abroad and in catastrophic medical negligence cases.
Gary also works with private clients and several local authorities advising on adult welfare and incapacity issues, appearing regularly at the sheriff court. He is also regularly instructed in cases arising from contentious executries and will disputes.
