Kate Bond

Kate is based in our rural land and business team and specialises in the full range of rural property work. This encompasses the acquisition and sale of farms, estates and forestry, crofting, access issues and estate management. Kate’s portfolio of clients includes Crown Estate Scotland, for whom she acts in respect of coastal (foreshore and seabed) and agricultural land transactions. She also has expertise in renewable energy projects, where she has acted for both developers and landowners. The financing and refinancing of rural property forms another facet of Kate’s rural work.

Before specialising in rural matters, Kate gained valuable experience in the residential property area with a focus on sales and purchase. Having grown up in the beautiful surroundings of Lochaber, Kate savours every opportunity to get back into the great outdoors on her regular trips home.
