Martin is a Partner with 20 years’ experience advising on infrastructure, energy and major construction projects. He specialises in complex commercial contracts across the renewables and construction value chain, supporting clients from project development through to operation and decommissioning.
His expertise covers construction and engineering, design, supply, transportation, installation, operation and maintenance agreements, alongside grid connection, regulatory strategy and procurement structuring.
Martin regularly drafts and negotiates development and funding agreements, EPC contracts, collaboration and consultancy arrangements for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
He advises leading wind and solar developers and recently acted on the development and sale of the largest portfolio of solar sites in the UK, as well as Scotland’s first consumer-owned wind project. His experience also includes innovative mandates such as wind-to-hydrogen systems, tidal power and Scotland’s first gas-to-grid anaerobic digestion project.
