Sara is Head of Residential Property at Anderson Strathern, where she is the partner responsible for managing our residential conveyancing and estate agency teams. She was one of the youngest partners to be appointed in a Scottish law firm when she joined us in 2014 and her fantastic skills, drive and enthusiasm were recognised when she was awarded Rising Star of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards in 2015. She has gone on to lead and build our very successful residential team.
Sara is a specialist in buying and selling all types of residential property across Scotland, but she focuses primarily on property work in Edinburgh, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. She is best known for work in private and high net worth market and her experience in transacting on some of Scotland’s most sought after private residential homes. Her career history as a solicitor, estate agent, negotiator, and valuer, is unique and is of huge value to our clients. Sara’s colleagues, clients, and peers describe her as an “undoubted talent” who is ‘proactive, innovative and forward thinking’ in her approach as well as ‘highly knowledgeable’ in her field. Her ability to communicate clearly and concisely is appreciated by our clients, as is her strategic and practical approach to deal making.
Sara also serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, Conflicts Group, and as Chair of our Risk Management Committee.
