She has extensive experience in the public sector, having worked in a local authority for a number of years providing legal advice on areas as diverse as education, infrastructure projects, licensing and governance. Sheila also has contract management and board-level experience in the renewables sector.
Outside of work, Sheila enjoys spending time with her family, running, walks along the beach, and watching live music or theatre events locally. As a proud islander, Sheila has a keen interest in the sustainability of rural and island communities and is especially passionate about economic development in these areas.
