Shirley Green

Having worked in the legal sector for 40 years, Shirley now specialises in the administration of executry estates. She is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal, a Scottish Law Accountant and a member of the Scottish Paralegal Association. She has a specialist Paralegal certificate in Wills, Trust and Executries from CLT Scotland and she holds a Diploma from the Society of Law Accountants in Scotland (SOLAS).

Shirley is compassionate when dealing with grieving families. She deals with all aspects of the administration of a deceased’s estate including investigating the estate, reporting it to HMRC for inheritance tax (IHT) purposes, obtaining the Grant of Confirmation (Probate) ingathering the estate, distributing it to the beneficiaries and calculating legal rights claims. She also deals with intestate cases (where there is no will) and cases where there are international assets or where an English or international probate is required.

Away from the office Shirley is a member of the Glasgow Branch of the Society of Law Accountants in Scotland (SOLAS) and she enjoys upcycling furniture, walking and city breaks.
