Based in our rural land and business team, Stuart has specialised in renewable property work since 2018. He has extensive experience in acting across the full spectrum of clean energy projects for both landowners and developers, together with renewable project finance work for a range of banks, funds and borrowers.
This has included; acting for a range of landowners and developers on renewable battery developments, solar work for developers on some of the largest projects in Scotland, for windfarm developers on a number of complex sites, together with experience in hydro, biogas and rewilding projects. Many of these projects have included co-located aspects, constrained sites, and multiple parties.
Away from the office, Stuart enjoys salmon fishing, running and is currently climbing all the Munros. He has travelled widely in Europe, America, Australia and Asia.
